History

The office was founded in Aachen in 1970 by Ernst Höhler and operated as “Höhler+Partner Architekten und Ingenieure GbR” until 2015.

In 2020, the management team was strengthened from within the firm’s own ranks and at the same time expanded to include additional expertise, becoming “Höhler und Partner Architekten und Beratende Ingenieure PartGmbB”.

From the very beginning, we have worked on projects throughout all of Germany. We have had a permanent office in Hamburg since 1976, opened our Munich office in March 2011 and have also been permanently represented in Berlin since 2018.

With our partner office Höhler+alSalmy based in Oman, we have been working on projects primarily in the Arab world since 2009.

MANAGEMENT BOARD

Our management team consists of 6 operational partners who manage our team across the various locations.

All our projects are project-managed by a member of the management team and/or one of our associates.

We prioritise friendship and partnership-based cooperation, both within our team and with our partners and clients.

Our team is made up of around 120 employees and consists of graduates in architecture and civil engineering as well as construction technicians and draughtsmen from 14 nations.
